<grove:bio>A Benefit for the T.J. Martell Foundation featuring Gretchen Wilson and special guest Bombshel will take place at the Grove of Anaheim Wednesday, March 10, presented by GO Country 105.

To all appearances, Gretchen Wilson went overnight from talented obscurity to phenomenon. Her first single, "Redneck Woman," spent six weeks at #1; her debut album, Here For The Party, sold more than five million copies; she won across-the-board awards including a Grammy and ACM, CMA and AMA nods for best female vocalist; and she toured to large and raucous crowds around the world.

Her second CD, All Jacked Up, rode enthusiastic reviews to platinum status as Gretchen's accomplishments continued to stack up. Her third, One of the Boys, solidified her position as one of contemporary country's most original and multi-faceted female artists, a woman in whom ambition and ability come together in every aspect of her career. In 2009, Gretchen launched her own record label, Redneck Records, and her first single release, "Work Hard, Play Harder," is reminiscent of the music that brought her to the dance. Her debut album, I Got Your Country Right Here, will hit stores March 30, 2010.

Gretchen's show at the Grove of Anaheim on March 10 will benefit the T.J. Martell Foundation, which over the past twenty-five years has provided over $27 million for pediatric cancer research at CHLA and is one of the largest private donors for pediatric cancer at CHLA. </grove:bio>

With millions of albums sold, numerous awards, countless achievements and a highly anticipation sixth album due for release March 23rd, 2010, Monica remains as one of the music industry's most influential talents.

At the early age of 14, Monica raised the bar for female singers when she became the youngest female artist in history to have two consecutive number one hits on the Billboard RandB chart with her debut single "Don't Take It Personal (Just One of Them Days)," followed by "Before You Walk Out of My Life" from her debut album Miss Thang. Monica's 1999 sophomore release, The Boy Is Mine, scored double-platinum status on the strength of three number one RandB and Pop hit singles spanning a year on the charts: "Angel of Mine," "The First Night" and the Grammy Award winning "The Boy is Mine," her double-platinum duet with singer/songwriter "Brandy". After the release of Monica's fifth studio album "The Makings of Me" lead by the up-tempo dance song "Every Time the Beat Drops" and follow up release "A Dozen Roses (You Remind Me)," Monica redirected her attention to motherhood but only to return to her fans in 2010 with her sixth album release "Still Standing". <grove:bio>Legendary guitarist/singer-songwriter Stephen Stills is one of the most influential and enduring figures in rock and roll and will perform at the Grove of Anaheim on Saturday, March 20.

The only artist ever to be inducted twice in the same night into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame for The Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills andamp; Nash Stills' work spans five decades, four iconic groups (Manassas and CSNandamp;Y in addition to the two already mentioned), two era-defining anthems "For What It's Worth" and "Love The One You're With" and a rich canon of solo material. Ranked #28 on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time, Stills also has a trio of album masterpieces on their compendium of The 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time: Buffalo Springfield Again, Crosby, Stills andamp; Nash and Déjà Vu.

Still recording and touring as a solo artist and with CSN and CSNandamp;Y, Stills' landmark career hits another amazing milestone in 2007 with the historic collection Just Roll Tape April 26th 1968. The date references a long-gone day when Stills was in a NYC recording studio with then-girlfriend Judy Collins. When her session wrapped, Stills wandered the halls with engineer John Haney, an acoustic guitar and a couple of hundred dollar bills, which he handed to Haney with the request, "Just roll tape." What was then captured at Elektra Studios were the first-ever takes of 12 songs that later became Stills solo hits and classics by CSN, CSNandamp;Y and Manassas, including the recording debuts of "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes," "Wooden Ships" and "Helplessly Hoping." Acoustic, elemental and intimate, the remastered versions of the dozen demos unveiled on Rhino Records' Just Roll Tape are an illuminating glimpse into Still's songwriting brilliance, guitar prowess and vocal agility.

Solo highlights also include 1971's Stephen Stills 2, adding the classics "Change Partners," "Marianne" and "Know You Got To Run" to Stills' catalogue. Billboard Magazine wrote, "His spectacular vocal style coupled with outstanding lyrics and music make this a must for every pop music fan." 1975's Stills introduced "As I Come Of Age," a poetic mid-tempo groove boasting harmonies from David Crosby and Graham Nash and Ringo Starr on drums, and '78's Thoroughfare Gap added another fan favorite with its title track. 1991's exquisitely spare Stills Alone prompted allmusic.com to write, "Stills has put out a spectacular solo effort in the true sense of the word."</grove:bio>

Case in point, "Psycho," the smash single from the band's 2007 release Famous that rationalizes a relationship with, 'maybe I'm the one, who is, a schizophrenic psycho...'

Famous, like both albums before it, was certified Gold after selling more than 500,000 copies in America alone. Propelled by "Psycho," the album cemented Puddle of Mudd's status as bona-fide hit makers, and earned them industry accolades including Billboard's No. 1 Mainstream Rock Song of 2008 and No. 2 Rock Band of the Year, where they finished second only to the Foo Fighters. Keeping in that tradition, the new album goes down like the smoothest shot you'll ever take.

Most recently, Puddle of Mudd debuted the song "Shook Up The World," which was recorded for Team USA and the 2010 Winter Olympics. The music, which debuted on the opening day of the 2010 Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver, offers inspirational songs for Team USA, sports and music fans across the country. <grove:bio>STOMP, the international percussion sensation, makes its Anaheim premiere at the Grove of Anaheim on Tuesday, April 13, 2010 and Wednesday, April 14, 2010. From its beginnings as a street performance in the UK, STOMP has grown into an international sensation over the past thirteen years, having performed in over 350 cities in 36 countries worldwide.

STOMP, an overwhelming success marked by rave reviews, numerous awards, and sell-out engagements, is the winner of an Olivier Award for Best Choreography (London's Tony Award), a New York Obie Award, a Drama Desk Award for Unique Theatre Experience, and a Special Citation from Best Plays. The young performers "make a rhythm out of anything we can get our hands on that makes a sound," says co-creator/director Luke Cresswell. Stiff-bristle brooms become a sweeping orchestra; Zippo lighters flip open and closed to create a fiery fugue; wooden poles thump and clack in a rhythmic explosion. STOMP uses everything but conventional percussion instruments trashcans, tea chests, plastic bags, plungers, boots, and hubcaps to fill the stage with compelling and infectious rhythms.

Critics and audiences have raved: "STOMP is as crisp and exuberant as if it had opened yesterday," says The New York Times. The San Francisco Chronicle declares "STOMP has a beat that just won't quit!" The Los Angeles Times exclaims: "Electrifying! Triumphs in the infinite variety of the human experience." "A phenomenal show! Bashing, crashing, smashing, swishing, banging and kicking a joyous invention!" says the Chicago Tribune.

STOMP is directed and created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas. The smash hit returns to (city's theatre) from (date) to (date) on (the following schedule). <grove:bio>YouTube a capella phenomenon Straight No Chaser will perform live at the Grove of Anaheim, Thursday May 13 at 8:30 PM. Tickets are on sale now.

The birth of Straight No Chaser's life in the spotlight is a story of talent, drive, and some very good luck. In the fall of 1996, Indiana University student Dan Ponce hand-picked ten friends to create the campus's first a cappella group and it wasn't long before the group was headlining concerts. Within two years, they were touring nationally. In April 2006, Indiana University hosted a reunion concert for the original members and posted clips from one of their 1998 concerts on YouTube to share with the other founding members. The concert footage that was nearly a decade old, with no promotion, received more than seven million views in December of 2007 alone, becoming the hottest viral video of the season.

Fueled by appearances on the Today show, ABC World News Tonight, and CNN Headline News, among others, Straight No Chaser's major label debut Holiday Spirits (2008) spent 14 days in the #1 slot on Amazon, and 5 days in the top spot overall on iTunes. The group's now famous version of "The 12 Days Of Christmas" peaked in the top 10 on the Christmas radio chart and reached the top 15 at Hot AC. On their first-ever headline tour in December 2008, Straight No Chaser sold out shows across the country.

Straight No Chaser recently released Christmas Cheers (2009), a fresh collection of holiday tune featuring their trademark vocal sound and unique musical approach. The group is currently working on a pop album which is slated for release in 2010.

Be sure to catch the phenomenon that is Straight No Chaser this May at the Grove of Anaheim!</grove:bio>
